
Angus House
The property is owned and managed by the RSL (Queensland Branch). We provide accommodation for veterans, ex-service members, their dependants and other personnel who are homeless as a result of crisis, as well as providing short-term accommodation for specialist medical treatment or counselling. We can provide accommodation for up to 18 residents.

Angus House is located in the suburb of Toowong, seven kilometres from the centre of Brisbane.

Residential Costs
Residents are asked for a contribution of $20 per day which includes all meals and accommodation. The evening meal is prepared by our cook Monday to Friday, and all other meals are available from the self help kitchen.
Facilities
Angus House provides a safe and caring retreat for all residents with plenty of space in the garden or the park at the rear of the property. Public transport is close by. Alternatively, if you need transport to see a medical specialist, or travel to Greenslopes hospital, our Supervisor will arrange transport. Other facilities include:
- 2 x computer stations;
- Library;
- Recreational room;
- BBQ area; and
- In house pay phone.
Accommodation
The air-conditioned accommodation provided at Angus House consists of:
- 6 x single rooms;
- 3 x double rooms; and
- 2 x transit rooms.
The transit rooms have 3 beds in each room and provide accommodation for those residents that require overnight accommodation or very short-term stay. All facilities at Angus House are shared including the bathroom amenities.
House Rules
House rules are rules about the use, enjoyment, control and management of the premises. We ask residents to not interfere with the reasonable peace, comfort or privacy of other residents. Alcohol or illegal drugs are not permitted at Angus House. The Supervisor will explain the house rules to you when you call to make a reservation, or when you arrive.
