Get Involved
Australia is a unique nation when it comes to volunteering, giving your time for others or a cause. The Returned & Services League of Australia is about giving back to those who have served our country.
What does volunteering for the RSL (Queensland Branch) involve?
Being a volunteer for the Returned & Services League of Australia means that you dedicate some of your time to be being involved in an event held by the RSL. These events include the Anzac Eve Concert with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the Anzac Day Ambush, the Poppy Appeal or the Remembrance Day Commemorative Service in Brisbane.
Being a volunteer is a commitment. When you commit your time and energy to an RSL event, you also have committed yourself to those whom we seek to assist, ex-serving and current serving ADF personnel.
How do I volunteer?
The first thing would be to think about it. What would you like to do? Does the Returned & Services League of Australia share similar values to me? What skills would I like to develop? Read our Mission and Vision statement – is this something that you want to work towards? Take some time to reflect on this.
