This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual to drive Communications within Queensland’s leading Ex-Service Organisation.
You will be responsible for coordinating the RSL (Qld Branch) Communications Team and leading Communications support to RSL (Qld Branch) This will include developing and implementing the Communications Strategic Plan, ensuring department objectives are met, leading media liaison and associated aspects such as event media support and identifying media engagement opportunities, developing and implementing Statewide marketing campaigns
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in leading Communications programs and coordinating media liaison from an organisation wide perspective. You will have previous experience in public relations or journalism, success in developing and leading a small team to achieve positive outcomes, complemented with excellent writing and communication skills and appreciation of the role played by RSL (Qld Branch) within the community.
