The RSL (Queensland Branch) through the Eternal Flame Foundation (EFF) is assisting Queensland veterans and their families affected by the flooding in North and Central Queensland.

The organisation has funds available to provide relief to those ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen and their dependants who have been devastated by the recent floods.
RSL (Queensland Branch) CEO Mr Chris McHugh CSC said this was just one way RSL (Queensland Branch) was assisting those devastated by floods.
“Many of our members and their families have been devastated by the floods that are ravaging our state,” he said.
“Through our Eternal Flame Foundation, the RSL on a state level is ready and willing to assist those who have lost everything through this natural disaster through grants.
“At a grassroots level, already many of the RSL’s sub branches are assisting on the ground through volunteering or through donating goods to assist those in need.”
Those ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen who have been affected by flooding are encouraged to make an application for funding through the EFF.
Forms can be found by clicking here.
For those who would like to make a donation to the EFF to assist veteran’s affected by flood, please donate at any Commonwealth Bank Branch.
