RSL (Queensland Branch) run two RSL Forums every year which provides an open venue for Pension, Advocacy and Welfare (PAWS) delegates and staff to raise and discuss issues in the veteran community with DVA staff and other Government agencies.
The Forums are a useful means of learning, mentoring, networking and provides an opportunity for delegates to openly discuss veteran issues at a grassroots level.
The Forums have been conducted over the past five years and have proved to be a valuable source of information to PAWS Practitioners. The next PAWS Forum is set to take place in November in Brisbane.
