RSL Queensland’s Advocacy Service is staffed and operated by practitioners who are qualified as both Pension Officers and Advocates. This service is available to past and currently serving members of the ADF, including Reservists and Cadets, and their families.
Our advocates will advise, and where appropriate, can assist you in independently assessing Repatriation Commission decisions in relation to a claim you lodged. Our Advocates are also able to assist in the preparation and representation of applications for review by the Veterans’ Review Board (VRB) and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT).
The aim of the RSL Service is to help you at each stage from the initial interview, preparation of the claim through to the appeal if necessary. This service is free, strictly confidential, and you do not have to be a current RSL member.
