Introduction
Bray Park-Strathpine RSL Sub-Branch offers a warm welcome to all serving or non-serving veterans in the local area. The Bray-Park Strathpine Sub Branch is part of the Brisbane North District of RSL Queensland.
History
Bray Park-Strathpine Sub Branch Inc. is located at The Hut, 1 Galvin Street, Lawnton, QLD, 4501 and is a typical Small Sub Branch which relies on fundraising and volunteers in order to survive. A young Sub Branch (Chartered in 2005) it has presently around 150 members.
The Sub Branch enjoys the Community involvement by their attendance at the ANZAC Day Dawn Service, Vietnam Veterans Day and Remembrance Day Services.
Information
Bray Park-Strathpine Sub Branch has a Pensions and Welfare Officer available Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm and by appointment on Saturdays who can assist veterans with Advocacy, Pensions or Welfare enquiries. Please call 07 3063 9520 to make an appointment.
Sub Branch Secretary is available weekdays 9am – 3pm to assist with Membership and Sub Branch enquiries.
Ladies morning tea is held on the 4th Tues of the month at 10am and enjoy doing crafts, mini trivia or inviting guest speakers
General Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month from February to November at 7.00pm at the Pine Rivers Memorial Bowls Club, corner of Sparks and Francis Roads, Bray Park. Committee Meetings are held at The Hut on the first Monday of the month. The AGM is held on the third Monday in March.
