EMERGENCY FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Sometimes finances don’t stretch as far as they need to. Maybe you’re having trouble paying for groceries or transport expenses, or this months rent or power bill.

If you’re having difficulties, we may be able to provide a limited, one-off amount of emergency funds to help you through your immediate situation.

If your need is more substancial, or you need emergency accommodation or support with medical expenses, we may be able to help as part of a long-term plan.

Eligibility:

Emergency financial support is available to Australian veterans. We also provide this service to Allied veterans who are RSL Sub Branch members.

We may refer you to services that are subject to means testing, which considers each applicant’s income and assets to determine their requirements for the service.
