RSL Youth Development Program
RSL (Queensland Branch) is encouraging Sub Branches and members to connect with local students in their area to endorse applications for the RSL Youth Development Program grants. Through the Program, Queensland students in Years 10 and 11 are awarded grants to assist in pursuing their academic, sporting or community-based goals.
While applications will be accepted from all students that fit the criteria, RSL (Queensland Branch) has placed greater focus on students from families of former and serving Defence personnel, who often face their own challenges, and encourage these students to apply for the grant.
Students can apply online, and will need to provide a description of their chosen pursuit, a supporting letter from their local RSL Sub Branch, and a 500 word essay on the importance of RSL and ANZAC values to Australia’s youth.
Find out more here. Applications close 11 November 2015.
