Getting fit and healthy consistently ranks among people’s top New Year’s resolutions. This year, maybe you should consider taking a leaf out of the book of veteran Anna Maria Lang – literally!

The combination of a near death experience, post-traumatic stress disorder and weight gain – which led to the development of a heart condition – prompted veteran Anna Maria Lang to publish Battles Babes Fitness.

Believing women need more inspiration in their daily lives, Anna wrote a book filled with daily battle plans to help women win the war on weight, body image and fitness.

“Of course, not everyone suffers if they gain weight, but I know that it is important to look after yourself, because your health, wellbeing and longevity of life depends on the choices you make and the actions you take,” Anna says.

“So many veterans who suffer also face weight challenges from medication, inhibited thinking, drinking alcohol, poor food choices, lethargy, resistance to exercise, and other habits that lead to health concerns. Know that you can gain a greater quality of life for looking after yourself and eating well, exercising and maintaining a weight range that is conducive to health.”

Battle Babes Fitness includes strategies and motivational quotes to inspire women to take affirmative action and call a ceasefire on the enemy at large.

Battle Babes Fitness by Anna Maria Lang is available on Amazon or via battlebabesfitness.com (RRP: $25).
