We support you in your search for civilian employment with our tailored program for ex-Defence members. It’s free and available online or over the phone.
Types of support
Whether you’re currently transitioning or have been out of the Australian Defence Force for a while, our highly trained team will work with you to determine how they can best support your search for employment.
This support may include:
- Help translating ex-serving Defence members' military skills to the civilian job market
- Support in interpreting selection criteria and writing CV's, application letters and social media profiles
- Access to employers across Australia
- Training and development
- Vocational counselling
- Career development
- Interview coaching

To be eligible, you must:
- Be an Australian resident
- Be an ex-serving Defence member not in regular employment or be a current Defence member with a confirmed discharge date
- Not currently be in the DVA Work rehabilitation Program.
