Join us to commemorate

A service of commemoration to mark the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan will be held at the Cenotaph in Freedom Park on Tuesday 18 August 2026.

All are welcome to attend the service at Freedom Park. Contact the Sub Branch on 4197 7477 if you wish to be included on the wreath layers' list. 

A function will be held at the Hervey Bay RSL & Services Memorial Club afterward for members and their guest, ex-service and current serving personnel.

A wristband is needed for entry to the function. Hervey Bay RSL Sub Branch members and current serving personnel are free.
