Remembrance Day in ANZAC Square icon of a poppy

Brisbane | 5 - 11 November 2024

Help keep remembrance alive - Remembrance Day (Monday 11 November) marks the anniversary of the official end of World War I.

In Australia, and many countries across the world, it’s an important time to remember all who have lost their lives in service.

Here in Anzac Square, you’re invited to:

  • Place a poppy tribute from 5-11 November, 10am to 4pm (see how below)
  • View a falling poppy light display from 5-9 November, 7pm to 11pm
  • Attend the Remembrance Day ceremony (or a service near you) on Monday 11 November at 10:30am

As long as we remember, the fallen won’t be forgotten.
